When we first entered into the window cleaning profession I quickly learned that not all insurance companies and insurance policies were equal.

It wasn’t until we landed or first mid rise building as a customer that I learned that my existing insurance at the time was inadequate. Our Insurance at the time had a height restriction. Our current liability insurance company is a financially stable company with a great rating and the have provide us with insurance that has no height restrictions. Of course with this comes a much higher premium. Almost 8 times the cost of the low rise insurance.
Having the proper insurance policy in order and in force is one of the qualities that sets our window cleaning service apart from the rest of our competitors.
Sadly most of our competitors carry inadequate insurance and still operate above the height restrictions of their insurance policy. Even more sad is that their customers don’t usually find out until its too late.
